Account Manager – Healthcare Staffing

The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of sales experience, preferably with a complex and layered sales cycle, and/or proven history in complex placements within healthcare staffing industry. Successful candidates must be problem solvers with highly analytical, marketing and presentation masters with superb negotiation skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills are a MUST.
Job Overview:
The Account Manager’s multi-faceted position will facilitate the representation of a client’s opportunity to potential candidates, recommend the most appropriate physician candidate for the specific opportunity, and, subsequently, undertake the role of the liaison between Healthcare and the physician for the duration of the assignment. In addition, the Account Manager will negotiate, on a case-by-case basis, the ancillary expenses of locum tenens placement. The Account Manager works on a team, in conjunction with the Business Development Consultant and the Physician Recruiter to successfully fill open assignments for the client facilities within the specialty for which they are dedicated.

Responsibilities:

  • Being able to successfully manage external vendors and service providers, as it relates to executing contracts and partnering with those, we have agreements with, to fully leverage those services in alignment with internal strategic plans and goals, is essential.
  • Consulting with healthcare facilities on staffing needs and coordinate the search for providers that match our clients staffing vacancies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client decision makers as well physicians that are currently on assignment
  • Utilize problem solving and conflict resolutions skills to resolve matters with clients and providers
  • Partner with our recruiting team to source and recruit potential candidates that meet the requirements of open requisitions
  • Responsible for the execution of each placement, including negotiating bill/pay rates, overseeing travel, lodging, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure that each placement results in the best possible locum tenens experience for both the facility and the provider.
  • Allocates a specific amount of resources for each program while avoiding the depletion of resources as well as the degradation of quality.
